C. Publishing your Web Page

Publishing Your Web Page

Your Web page can now be viewed by accessing your student userpages. To test this, you can return to the browser window you used earlier to find your directory and click “Refresh”. The newly uploaded Web page file should be listed in your “.pub” directory. You can click on the title name and it will appear as it will to anyone else viewing it via the world wide Web.

The Web URL address for your new Web page will be “http://userpages.umbc.edu/~student/webpage” where you would replace “student” with your username and “Webpage” with the actual title of your Web page document with the “.html” or “.htm” suffix.
