Welcome to Web Design Basics for UMBC Freshmen

This site was created to help UMBC students familiarize themselves with basic Web page design principles and the UMBC system server that students can use to host web pages and view them on the world wide web.

There are three parts to this program: an introduction to the Internet for new users, a primer on using Netscape Composer to create web pages, and finally a step-by-step guide to saving documents to your student server space provided by UMBC.
