Try this:
In the same browser window, enter the following address in the URL bar:
http://userpages.umbc.edu/~student
then replace “student” with your username.
Your “pub space” folder should appear and have no listings if there are no Web pages or other documents stored there.
Using this userpages address is how you will view your Web page as it appears on the world wide Web once you have saved it to your AFS directory.
