Sample EMS Policy
The
attached is the policy I developed for my fire department in response
to the recent swine flu concerns. It is EMS specific and follows an EMS
call from start to finish. It is designed for ease of use by field
providers. It attempts to compile the best points from several sources.
Please feel free to insert your agency name as needed or adapt the
sample to your specific needs.
Please send this to anyone you think may benefit from it. As always you
should follow the guidance provided by your medical director, protocols
and local EMS authority.
