Introduction Printmaking
The General Schedule for the semester is outlined in the following pages.
All the dates are tentative and are subject to change as the semester develops and the pace of the class is known.
We will discuss several print processes but only actually do 4 of the processes.
There will be 5 major Projects/Editions completed during the. semester.
Mono-Type/Print & Collagraph
Intaglio
Relief
Lithography
Notes-Demonstrations -Tec Support
Even though there will be support technical pages to assist you in a process it is still neccesary and will be requiered that you take notes when ever I am giving a demonstration on a processes. You can use your journals for this.
The technical support pages should be found under the Technical Headings, however the real learning and understanding will only develop with your own time , energy and input. You need to keep your technical notes and the class tech pages with you when printing so you can be ready to tackle any issue that may come up.
Always feel free to ask questions about the processes. If not sure then ASK.
