C&O Canal
Octorber 5-7, 2002

Naomi, Kevin, Jeremy and I started the 184.5 mile trip down the C&O Canal up in Cumberland early Saturday. [Special thanks to Naomi's parents for driving us up.] We biked about 60 miles on our first day taking a stop at the Paw Paw Tunnel before ending our day a little after dusk in Hancock. On day two we hit Fort Frederick, Feeder Dam #4, the Barron's Hiker/Biker store and several sets of caves as we approached Harper's Ferry, where we stayed in the Hilltop House our second night. On our last day we biked passed the Olympic Kayak course in Dickerson, went through Great Falls and down to the end of the Canal in Georgetown.

Here are a couple pictures--
