I'm not known for loudly detailing my interests, but that doesn't mean that I'm dull. Well, actually, I'm not that exciting, but I try. :)

When I'm not in school or with Steve, I'm mostly reading or writing. Usually reading. I like science fiction and fantasy, but I'm also a fan of drama. Stuff like Terry Pratchett, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Robert Heinlein. I've read enough Gibson to last me a lifetime. Don't like the cyberpunk stuff. So strange and depressing. Here, have some poems. Pretentious of me, innit? ;)

Ahhh, music. I'm not a fanatic about anything, but I am a fan of almost everything. Favorites include Depeche Mode, U2, Tori Amos, Cure, Suzanne Vega, and Violent Femmes. Yeah, I know, me and everyone else. So what? I'm quite fond of 80's synthpop...although, sadly enough, I spent the eighties pretty much in larval form, and can only look back and yearn for what I never had. Ok, well, enough o' that.

Movies? Well, I like Monty Python. In fact, I can recite most of everything ever done by Monty Python, which in some circumstances, is not a good thing. I also have a collection of movies containing Tom Cruise, but I think that's also an 80's thing. Otherwise, The Color Purple is one of my favorites, as is The Abyss. That movie scared me silly the first time I saw it. Speaking of scared, I am also a fan of slasher horror flicks, mostly because they're often so outrageous. And the acting is always sooo bad.

Also, I feel compelled to mention The Matrix. That movie rocks. I mean completely rocks. I wanna be able to fly and evade bullets, and do some kick ass kung-fu fighting. sigh...

Bored? Looking for a way to waste away those long hours at the office or in class on your laptop which you are supposedly taking notes on because you're such a good student? Try these:
