#10 Left: Gustav Friederici, taken in Swinemunde probably in the 1880's. Younger portraits of Gustav can be found #13 and #12. Gustav retired in 1886 when he sold his apothecary (pharmacy) at 69 years old. He lived in Swindemunde Prussia.

#11 Right: Gustav Friederici's wife (name unknown), taken in Swinemunde probably in the 1880's. Their only daughter is probably Miss Alvine Friederici, they also had several sons. A younger portrait can be found #9.

Gustav was the eldest Friederici son and often took financial responsibility for Ferdinand. All the siblings were obligated to send Ferdiand inheritance checks throughout the years. During hard times this created sibling rivalries.
