writing assignment-reflective assessment paper
Review your journal portfolio, class list postings, activities, class
notes, all work completed in our course. Using that body of material and
your own expertise and theoretical background, write a reflective paper
assessing your work and clarifying your position, as an educator or professional
or academic, on computer-assisted communication. Consider technology access,
visual presentation and cross-curricular issues. You might also comment
on how you feel technology is best integrated within the curriculum. We
strive, for example, to spend as little time as possible 'teaching the
software/hardware' aspects of technology, trying instead to let our students
assume roles as technical experts to support one another, while we focus
on participation within our content area. We are also very hopeful that
our students will share our belief that the integration of technology
should always be thoughtful and critical. Having now completed an intensive
hands-on experience yourself, you might then, finally, comment on your
own personal focus and on the ways that focus has changed during this
semester.
