Welcome to my home at UMBC! _______________  UMBC

My name is Yi Huang, or call me Yvonne, currently an Associate Professor at UMBC. I completed my Ph.D. in Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2007. I then joined the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) as a tenure-track Assistant Professor, to fulfill the need of our growing joint biostatistics graduate program with the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMB campus). The nature of biostatistics often requires interdisciplinary research at the interface between statistics and public health/ medicine/ biology. Immersed in a very supportive environment from my department and senior faculty, I have been able to pursue my research goal ¨C to establish my interdisciplinary research program as a biostatistician at UMBC.

I work hard and passionately to explore the exciting things in both my research and personal life, flavoring joys in the past (experienced a spiral growth with occasional setbacks) and expecting the best in the future. I hope this site will give you a brief and interesting introduction of my life.  If you are interested in my research or working expereience, please feel free to contact me for further information.  Enjoy the trip !
