So I got this summons, the other day, ordering me to appear at an advance screening of the new movie Super Troopers, and as a total surprise to me, the cast shows up including Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter. These five guys (a.k.a. - Broken Lizard) wrote, directed and starred in the movie and it's pretty darn funny. Anyway, afterward we all went out to a bar and hung out for a couple hours and got crazy. These guys are really fun and cool. They made me an honorary Super Trooper. I hope the movie does well. Here's a couple pics--

So then, I get a pass to see the Van Wilder sneak just three days later, and Van Wilder himself, Mr. Ryan Reynolds, shows up and hangs around a little bit afterward to mingle. The movie is a lot of fun. It reminds me of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Here's a couple pics from that--

Tonight the Washington Power lacrosse squad destroyed the Philadelphia Wings 19-12 to assure themselves a spot in this year's playoffs. Afterwards, the Power hosted a little reception and I had the privilege of meeting two of the greatest players ever to play the game. The legendary Gait brothers.
