Tom's IQ Test

By: Thomas Huff

The title "Tom's IQ Test" can be interpreted one of two ways; so first off, I'd just like to clarify that we are not testing Tom's IQ here; rather this is an IQ Test that Tom (that being myself) created. My little quiz probably more reflects the inquisitive quotient than intelligence; so conveniently, the I and the Q still work. Have fun--

  1. Whose portrait is on the $10 bill?

  2. What three countries border Mexico?

  3. What is the Roman numeral for 50?

  4. Who was the second president of the United States?

  5. What type of speech is the word "beside?" (e.g. noun, verb)

  6. On a standard U.S. traffic signal, is the green light at the top or the bottom?

  7. Which planet is Earth's closest neighbor? (if the planets are all aligned)

  8. How many stripes are there on the U.S. flag?

  9. What does BMW stand for?

  10. Who wrote the book Moby Dick?

  11. What is the purpose of the gallbladder?

  12. What letter starts the second half of the alphabet?

  13. What does H2O actually stand for?

  14. Name Santa's eight reindeer.

-Extras-

  1. How many syllables are in the word "hire?"

  2. If very brief terms, what does E=mc2 actually explain?
