The World of Language - I

Spring 2002

Syllabus

Assignments: page numbers indicate readings that are to be completed for class on the date indicated. It is a good idea to review the material in Yule by answering the "Study questions" at the end of each chapter. When "exercises" are noted, they refer to the "Discussion topics/projects" at the ends of the chapters. These are to be prepared for class discussion."Projects" are optional written assignments that are to be handed in.

Some of the reserve readings may eventually be available in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. You will need a password to use the files you download. I'll give it to you in class. Later, you will be able to click here to go to online reserves.
