AFAMFEMPLAYWRIGHTS is dedicated to promoting African American female playwrights and African American theatre by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas among African American female playwrights. Although primarily a group for African American female playwrights, AFAMFEMPLAYWRIGHTS welcomes other African American female theatre artists and technicians. ASKDWAYNE is a forum to provide information and discussion about Black women's hair, including topics such as healthy hair, hair care, styles, products, and interviews with professionals in the hair care industry. For more information or to subscribe, see the ASKDWAYNE Yahoo groups web page.

BF-INTERRACE is a list for Black women who are currently in or have been in interracial and/or intercultural relationships. This is a positive list for Black women seeking support, resources, and discussion with other women in similar relationships. For more information, see the BF-INTERRACE web page. BIRACIALLESBIANS is a Yahoo list for bi-racial and multiethnic lesbians of color and other lesbians of color who are interested in issues exploring multiculturalism and diversity as they relate to identity. BLACK_WOMEN_DEPRESSION is a forum for black women who are dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar, other mental illness or just the strain of having to deal with "strong black woman" syndrome. For more information or to subscribe, see the black_women_depression Yahoo groups web site.

BlkSnglMoms (Black Single Moms) brings together Black single moms and providers of products and services created to provide family, parental, safety, and business development assistance. For more information or to subscribe, see the BlkSnglMoms web page.

BOL began as a moderated list "for people and organizations within South Asia and outside to come together, discuss and work on issues of gender, reproductive health and rights and legal developments pertaining to human rights within the region." More recently, it expanded its focus to include women's studies in the South Asian region. BWEntrepreneur is a list for Black women in business or starting a new venture. The list offers advice, networking, discussion on ways to promote business, and announcements. CHICNEWS(ChicanaWriter News) is an interactive list that welcomes calls for papers, general information, and news about Chicanas across the United States, as well as personal commentaries and Chicana activism. The list provides a place to form connections and plan conferences and projects. You can subscribe from the YahooGroups ChicNews page or by sending a message to chicnews-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

CWN (formerly CAW) is a women-only list that "focuses on Caribbean/Caribbean-American women of all ages (professionals/other) wanting to network or exchange thoughts on politics, development, sexual/physical abuse of women, culture, and lifestyle issues." To subscribe, send the message "I want to subscribe to CWN" and a brief bio including citing contact info, profession, and e-mail address to CWN's Founder/President, Jennifer Nunes, at cwomensnet@yahoo.com .

DESIDYKES is a Yahoo groups forum for South Asian lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered women. South Asian includes women from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc. To subscribe, send a message to desidykes-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or go to the DESIDYKES Yahoo Groups page. You may have to register first with Yahoo and then agree that you are 18 or older before you can access the page.

EmpowerMe. A Yahoo groups list affiliated with Empower Me!, an organization "dedicated to empowering Black Women in their careers and business. Building strong foundations for success through networking." For more information or to subscribe, see the EmpowerMe Yahoo groups web page.

FEM-NET is a group of Japanese-language lists dedicated to the feminist movement. It currently has sub-lists for women-only talk, action alerts, events and announcements, and violence against women. New sub-groups are added as needed. For more information (in Japanese), see the FEM-NET web site.

GENDER_AZURDEV is a bi-lingual (French/English) platform for information-sharing, dialogue, discussion and debate on Gender issues in Africa and all other regions. Information is also posted about relevant conferences, scholarships, fellowships, and other resources. More information is available at the GENDER_AZURDEV web page. GENDER-LAW is for discussing the role of the World Bank in addessing legal issues that affect women in developing countries. To subscribe, send the message SUBSCRIBE GENDER-LAW to MAJORDOMO@JAZZ.WORLDBANK.ORG .

GIRLFRIEND provides a forum for Black women in cyberspace. Topics are wideranging, including such issues as current events, spiritual quests, travel, politics, hair, money, children, popular culture, careers, sexuality, men, women. etc. "Girlfriends can be Black women by birth or by choice (black-identified) of any political orientation and sexual preference." GRADUATE CENTER WOMEN OF COLOR NETWORK is a listserv for women of color pursuing their Ph.D.'s. Based at the City University of New York, the list is open to women of color doctoral candidates anywhere. The list's aim is to equip its members with the tools to survive and succeed in graduate school and to help members manage their various identites (daughters, partners, mothers, workers). HIR_SHE is a list for "dykes/lesbians/queerwomen of color" and is part of the Hir_She community. For more information or to subscribe, go to the community's web page.

HUES is a list "for dykes/lesbians/queer/gay women of color who live our lives as the fabulously fierce Femmes we are." The list is part of the Hir_She community. NETWORKING-WOMEN is a networking and support forum for African-American women who own a business or wish to start one. List members can share business problems, solutions, ideas, and accomplishments with other women who are looking to achieve similar goals. RIMA "RIMA – Red Informativa de Mujeres de Argentina es un proyecto de comunicación que se realiza a través de una lista de distribución por correo electrónico homónima, dedicada a la información y el intercambio entre mujeres feministas, periodistas, organizaciones del movimiento de mujeres, investigadoras, estudiantes, y activistas del país y también de países de Latinoamérica." SAGrrls is a Yahoo groups forum for, by, and about South Asian lesbians and bisexual women. The purpose of the forum is to create a safe space and to establish a network for individuals to exchange information and share thoughts, feelings, and ideas. "South Asian" includes women whose heritage is linked to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or Tibet. The forum is open to any lesbian or bisexual woman who self-identifies in part or whole as a South Asian or who has some significant familial South Asian heritage. SAWNET (South Asian Women's Net) is a discussion group for women from the south asian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka) as well as women from other parts of the world interested in the concerns of south asian women. SHAMS-AL-NISA, a women and Islam forum, has been set up for the discussion and debate of issues relating to the rights of women in Islam, including Muslim personal law and campaigns around gender in Islam and the Muslim community. SISTANET is a list for lesbians, bisexual and transgendered women of African descent who are 18 or older. If you wish to subscribe, please first send a brief bio to SISTAHS@QUEERNET.ORG. The Subject: header should say "Re: Bio." The body of the message should contain the text of your bio. If you have questions about the list, send them to the list facilitator at the abovementioned address. SUFIWOMEN-DIALOGUE is a forum for Sufi women from diverse cultural backgrounds who share a dedication to the goals of Sufism and wish to exchange ideas, traditions, concerns, and teachings. To subscribe, send a message with a blank subject header to SUFIWOMEN-DIALOGUE-REQUEST@IAS.ORG . The body of the message should contain the single word SUBSCRIBE .

TW-WOMEN promotes discussion of issues related to Taiwanese women. The list is open to the general public. To subscribe, send the message SUBSCRIBE TW-WOMEN to MAJORDOMO@FORMOSA.ORG or use the form on the TW-WOMEN web site.

VISIONS-AFR is a bilingual (English/French) forum to post information and to discuss problems and solutions to the task of gender equality, with a focus on the West African region. Among the topics that the list has been set up to discuss are reproductive health and access to information in Africa; socio-cultural practices that affect women and children's health; family planning. WEEPING-WILLOWS is a list for Black women "who have or are suffering from depression to talk with other women about various treatments and therapies, offer support, and discuss social issues, sexual abuse, drug addiction, weight issues, relationships, and other things" that affect mental health. WIVES OF EGYPTIANS is a women-only forum for Muslim women married to Egyptian Muslims. WIVES OF MOROCCANS (WOM) is a women-only list for the wives of Moroccans. You can subscribe from the WOM Yahoo groups web page.

WOMEN_SRI_LANKA is a list for discussion of "issues relating to women, gender, and other relevant topics." Though many of the subscribers are from Sri Lanka, the list is open to everyone.
