Balkan Women and Friends is a list for exchanges of information between social scientists and others who conduct research women in the Balkans. It also welcomes the participation of others concerned with the situation of women in Balkan societies. FNG-L is an interdisciplinary list that aims to connect researchers working in the area of "Gender and Nations/Nationalisms" in the early modern period and the 19th and 20th centuries. The focus is on Europe, including attention to colonialism and imperialism. The list intends to facilitate information exchange about research projects (completed, in progress, or planned), new publications, workshops, colloquia, conferences, and calls for papers. 4Indianwoman.com Discussion Board is a web-based forum for Indian women. Separate sections of the forum include Female Issues, Current Issues, Social Issues, Entertainment and Sports, Freelancing, Writing Techniques, and General. The Discussion Board is part of the larger 4Indianwoman.com web site, a writing platform for Indian women that offers weekly blogs, stories, novels, poems, articles, commentary, and more.

GENDER-AIDS is an internationally-focused list for discussion of gender and AIDS/HIV. Though it is an email list, you can read some of the messages and subscribe to GENDER-AIDS from the Web.

GENDERANDICT is a moderated international list for everyone interested in international gender and ICT developments, including policy-makers, academics, women's organizations, and designers of software or courses. The list can be used to disseminate announcements of workshops, conferences, new websites, job openings, and the latest research results. KNOWHOWCONF has been set up to enable people to follow the KnowHow Conference. The Know How Conference on the World of Women's Information is an international congress that is held every four years. It is also a global process that facilitates an exchange of expertise and experiences among information specialists whose work focuses on the position of women. POSTDOC-WO is a list for women who have recently completed their Ph.D. The list offers a safe, supportive place for women to discuss the new issues and challenges in their lives, a place to let off steam, and to share information and advice.
