Katie Hirsch's 3-D animated short film Dragin' On has been accepted to the 2006 Maryland Film Festival. The film will be shown on Sunday, May 14th at 12:00pm with the "Animated Shorts" in Charles Theater 4. For tickets go to the link above.

04/29/2006 Digital Entertainment Conference at UMBC

Katie had the opportunity to speak at UMBC's first every Digital Entertainment Conference sponsored by the Game Developers Club (GDC) and Visual Arts Council of Majors (ArtCOM) at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). Other Speakers at the event included Seth Spaulding from Firaxis Games, Barry Caudill and Dan Magaha of Firaxis, Ryan McFall of Day 1 Studios, and Sid Meier of Firaxis Games.
