INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS BULLETIN

VOLUME 33, No. 1-2 (Fall 1998)

From the Editor

Why is this issue of the Bulletin so thin? Your editor is on sabbatical leave for Fall 1998. I will be spending several weeks in Istanbul, Turkey, working an a couple of international communication projects. Please do not send me e-mail for a few weeks, as I will not be in my office until mid-November.

The Bulletin will return in Spring 1999 with all the regular features (division news, recent publications, research reports, book reviews, etc.), except it will carry more pages (closer to 40) and will arrive in your mailbox earlier than usual (shortly after Spring Break).

Please note the information on the division’s officers for 1998-99 (pp. 3-4) and read the message from ICD Head Michael Elasmar (p. 2). There will be no divisional call for papers in the Bulletin this year, so remember to read the uniform call for papers in January’s AEJMC Newsletter.

I wish everyone a pleasant and productive academic year.

Yorgo Pasadeos
