Math 627 - Introduction to Parallel Computing

Fall 2006 - Matthias K. Gobbert

Schedule - Last Updated December 19, 2006

This schedule is designed to give you an overview of the material to be covered and is tentative in nature.
The chapter numbers refer to Peter S. Pacheco, Parallel Programming with MPI, Morgan Kaufmann, 1997.
We decided to lengthen the class meetings 5, 6, ..., 24, 25 by 15 minutes each in order to finish covering the elements of MPI faster and to allow for some focus on project work in the later part of the semester. We will thus meet 12:45-02:15 starting September 14, 2006. For comparison, our original schedule as published in the syllabus.
