This schedule is designed to give you an overview of the material to be covered and a detailed schedule of the tests. The due dates of the homework are marked here as guidance, but see the homework page for the official record and for the detailed list of problems due for each homework.

There is an individual on-line quiz for (nearly) every section we cover; they are due by class on that section and thus not explicitly marked here. (Quiz 1.1 is an exception: It is due by the second class to allow us time to get started.) The quizzes are administered in Blackboard and can be found under each section under Course Documents, located in each individual section. Please see the the learning goals and plan for more information on the role of these quizzes with respect to the learning goals of this course.

There will also be in-class group quizzes assigned fairly frequently, but without a formal schedule, to the learning groups assigned in class.
