UMBC is located at the southern intersection of the interstate highway I–95 and the Baltimore beltway I–695. See the adjacent map.
By car
For directions and visitor parking information please consult the UMBC Campus Maps and Location web site. For Friday, a parking code will be available on this site (after 9/11) to be used for the paid parking lots (visitor parking). Parking is free on Saturday.
By plane
The Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport is about 7 miles from UMBC. Taxi/ride share fare should be $20–30, each way.
By train
Amtrak's BWI train station is about 7 miles from UMBC. Taxi fare should be $20–30, each way.
