I am a Senior Computer Science student at UMBC with a focus in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Human Centered Computing and Human Robot Interaction. I conduct research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and have TA’d for CMSC 201 (Introductory Computer Science for Majors) and CMSC 341(Data Structures). I was involved as the President of the UMBC Cosplay Coalition from Spring 2015 to Fall 2016 and am the event coordinator of UMBConnect as well as a CWIT Affiliate.
My Research:My research interests are primarily in Human Robot Interaction (HRI) and Human Centered Design. My work focuses on robotic interface design and programming that reduces cognitive load on the user in a manufacturing setting. This includes the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for robot programming and the analysis of a variety of interfaces including virtual and augmented reality, natural language processing, graphical user interfaces and tangible user interfaces. You can find a poster I presented at ICRA 2015's Becoming a Robot Guru Workshop on implicative language analysis for robotic applications here.
Other Works:My other work involves data analysis and data science, android programming, sensor integration, and machine learning. For more information on these works, feel free to visit the projects page
