Computer-Aided Design Of The Elution Buffer Composition In Chromatofocusing

Welcome to the buffer design website.  You need to install and load Solver in your Microsoft Excel to use this software.  Please click to download the buffer design software.

If you prefer to use our calibration experimental data,  only parameters in steps 2 and 3 of part 3 can be changed in the software.  If you find it difficult to enter reasonable parameters in step 2 of part 3, here are some example sets of parameters you can use to get a linear pH gradient:

Example No.
Column length (cm)
Flow rate (mL/min)
Midpoint slope (pH unit/sec)
Transit time (sec)

*Change the maximum value of the objective function F in Step 3 of Part 3 to 0.002.

**If the solver says that it could not find a feasible solution, keep the solver solution as a new starting point and try solving the problem again.
