- Faculty need a single point of contact for initial questions
concerning traditional desktop computing and network access
clients. There should be a clear procedure for handling
faculty/staff problems that involve equipment and software
operation.
- Once ITT has reached some level of convergence at UMBC, a
booklet describing services should be sent to all faculty, which
should be updated on a regular basis. All ITT services
should be covered by a single publication, including those now
offered by ACS, Administrative Computing, the library, and
Victor's shop. There should not be multiple, overlapping ITT
solutions from all of these administrative units.
