Begining the walk from the parking lot of the Physical Plant, UMBC . It was a perfect day with only minimal wind.
This is a small stream that cuts through UMBC and into Arbutus. There was a great deal of rubbish that was caught in and around the stream.
Our first crossroads, Poplar Ave and Shelbourne Road, Arbutus. Shelbourne has a great deal of traffic. The noise level is fairly high near and around this artery.

People getting out of their car; slamming doors, dog barking, birds and other moderate traffic sounds can be heard

Returning from the neighborhood is a wooded area where there was more wildlife can be found such as this ground hog.
