The twisting hyperboloid

We have see how to plot a hyperboloid of one sheet is a ruled surface. Make an animation that show the hyperboloid's shape for various twist angles, as in this sample: [twisting-hyperboloid.gif]

Plane to tube to torus

See if you can do this animation. I made this in two separate procs. One taking the plane to the tube, and the other taking tube to the torus.
