Fun with Random Background Sounds

Sounds play only in Versions 3 & 4 of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer

For JavaScript Programmers

To see the code required to play random background sounds, view the document source of this page. You'll see there's an array of available sound files, and a custom JavaScript function to generate a random number.

In the body of the page, a script generates a sound file name, and then writes an tag (for Netscape browsers) and a tag (for Internet Explorer browsers) with that "random" sound file name. Here are the random number and sound file name created with this "Reload":
