Some students in this class have agreed to participate in a project taking place over the course of the semester. This project is run by Colleen Sullivan who is a graduate student at UMBC and working toward receiving her Ph.D. She is interested in learning about your first-year experience at UMBC.

The third and final time point of her dissertation is right around the corner. Students who completed both the survey during the summer and another survey during the middle of this semester will be sent an email (with a link to the survey) on Sunday, December 6^th, at 6:00 pm. Students will only have a short period of time to complete the survey online, the survey ends on Wednesday, December 16^th, at 6:00 am. She would greatly appreciate your help with learning about first-year students for her dissertation. Every student has different experiences during their first year in college so it is very important that she hear from you!

Don’t forget, if you complete the survey you will be entered into FOUR different drawings! You have three chances to a $20 iTunes giftcard and the grand prize winner will receive an 8GB iPod Touch! Keep in mind that you will only be eligible for these drawings if you complete the survey.
