 Projects     

Saving User Search History (Part of Independent Study 2002)-Worked on an independent study to

implement saving and retrieval of user Search History Information from PubMed (medical database).

developed the user interface portion of the system using server-side Java standard such as servlets, JSPs, and

other J2EE technologies. The project involved retrieving XML resources located on the Web and processing

and storing information in a JDBC-enabled relational database system. Also participated in connecting the

mySQL database to the user interface through a Tomcat engine connection

 

Case Consults Online Library 2000

Developed software for a web-based library, using EJB, Servlets, JSP, and JDBC. Database used was DB2. Actively involved in the system design, and also designing the DB2 database. The design for the front-end Java classes was done using UML.

 

OCoors (Online Content Management) System Analysis and Design (2002)- Did a complete System analysis and Design for Content Management of the existing INS website. This project lasted 3 months and included ER diagram design, Data Flow diagrams, on site interviewing, project documentation, worked with a team of 4. I personally designed the WebPages for individual job layout on INS Content Management WebPages. 

Student Information System, Mysore University- Package was developed to constitute the overall functioning of a student database in an education institute. The front-end used was Developer 2000 and

Oracle 7 as the Back-end.
