TREPTOW an der Rega, near STETTIN (Sczcecin)

All letters refer to a place "Treptow/Piega." There are three Treptow villages in 19th century Prussia. One is just to the east of Stettin, a second is to the east of Swindemünde near the Baltic, and the third is an industrial suburb southwest of Berlin. Since the Friederici's traveled to all three larger cities it was difficult trace, however Piega is actually "Rega" referring to the river Rega northeast of Stettin. Therefore this document will refer to Treptow an der Rega near Stettin (Sczcecin) which is in contemporary Poland.
