It is herewith certified, based on the Records of the Church of St. Marien here, that the Citizen and innkeeper Herr Johann Ludwig Wilhelm Jahn, was born a daughter by his wedded wife Caroline Wilhelmine, nee Hillman on October 31st, one thousand eight hundred thirty nine (on 10.31.1839), who was baptized on November 17th of the same year, and given the names Caroline Auguste Amalie.
