Women and the Internet: Demographic Info
The following sites provide reports and data about women's use of the Internet:
- GVU's WWW User Surveys
- (The Graphics, Visualization, and Usability [GVU] Center at Georgia Institute of Technology has been conducting extensive, twice-yearly surveys of Web use since 1994. "Gender" is one of their categories. Survey results are online. Note that this is just Web use, not Internet use.)
- NUA Internet Surveys
- (NUA is an organization based in Ireland that provides frequently-updated links to surveys and reports about Internet usage. "Women" is one of the categories available under "Demographics" on the left.)
- CyberAtlas
- (CyberAtlas has a marketing/business focus. One can search under "women.")
