Widowhood from a Feminist Perspective

A query for resources about widowhood from a feminist perspective gave rise to
the following suggestions, with considerable attention to international
perspectives.  For more WMST-L files available on the Web, see the

Does anyone have suggestions for readings on widowhood from a feminist
perspective?  I am very interested in the experience of women in Asia,
Africa and Latin America, as well as, western perspectives.  Thanks.
