The Shriver Center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County sponsors three major state-wide summer internship programs. While each has a different focus, the three programs are all designed to introduce college students to public service. The three programs, Maryland Nonprofit Leadership Program (Nonprofit), Governor’s Summer Internship Program (GSIP), and the Maryland Department of Transportation Internship Program (MDOT), each engage students for challenging public service experiences for an extended period during the summer.
