Math 426 - Introduction to Mathematical Software Packages: Matlab

Summer 2005 - Matthias K. Gobbert

Detailed Schedule

This schedule is designed to give you an overview of the material to be covered and is tentative in nature. Only the major topics are listed. We will cover parts of several additional short chapters, including Chapters 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 21.
The chapter numbers refer to Desmond J. Higham and Nicholas J. Higham, Matlab Guide, second edition, SIAM, 2005.
For this class to be a two-credit class, we have to meet eight (8) times for 3:10 hours. This duration of a Summer semester class corresponds to about two classes in a regular semester. That's why I am listing two topics for each day here.
