- Prerequisite: MATH 152 and 221,
familiarity with a high-level programming language
- Textbook:
Kendall Atkinson, Elementary Numerical Analysis,
second edition, John Wiley & Sons, 1993.
A copy of the textbook is on reserve in the library.
- Grading policy:
Homework 40%
| Midterm 20%
| Final 40%

The homework is weighted so heavily, because it includes the
computer assignments that are vital to understanding the
course material.
