One of the Enigma Project's co-founders was first introduced to the idea of Bigfoot in Maryland through the 1964 "Blueberry Hill Monster" sighting at Prettyboy Reservoir (Baltimore County) and then again with the Sykesville (Carroll County) Monster episode of 1973. If there was ever any doubt that the Bigfoot genre had found its place in Maryland, all one needs to do is consult Mark Opsasnick's impressive compilation, the Maryland Bigfoot Digest*. Since our inception, Enigma has investigated several alleged Bigfoot reports in the States of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
