We are delighted to welcome Rooge Suvanasuthi as the newest member of our lab. His masters thesis research involved cloning, expression, and purification of a protease of Dengue Virus.  Rooge will put his experience to good use by assisting in our efforts to understand the biochemistry of the ZapA and ZapE proteases of Proteus mirabilis.

Candice Shaifer is back in the lab continuing her research on bacterial interactions affecting coral bleaching and RTN. Candice is a senior biology major at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
