The Belas Lab's newest member is Jeremy Ness, an intern who hails from Howard High School. Jeremy is helping with genetic analysis of Silicibacter sp.  TM1040.

Haifeng Geng is the lab's newest graduate student and arrived in August. He's already hard at work unraveling the function of FlaA, a flagellar protein of TM1040.
