Book Cover: Exploring narrative imagery
Due: Tuesday, April 7th

Create an image in Photoshop to depict the story "This is How I Remember it" Imagine the book to be of average book size.

Questions to ask :
Does the cover give a good idea of what to expect from the book?
Does your image successfully tell the story?
What kind of mood does your image depict?
Is your text readable? Is it interesting?

Guidelines

In Photoshop:
You need to save images as an EPS file and in CMYK mode, in order to import it in to Quark properly.

In Quark:
Use and 8.5 x 11 vertical page.
Book Cover size is 6 x 8 on letter page.
*Final must be printed out in Color for critique. Disks will not be accepted.

Text that must be included on cover:
Title: This Is How I Remember It
Author: Betsy Kemper
Edited and introduced by: Jerome Stern

Grading Criteria:
Visual complexity and elegance
Overall coherence and communication of story
Technical ability
Creativity
