Difference poster

Designed specifically to attack elitism, or a human tendency to believe that certain traits that differentiate them from others somehow translates to a higher status, in priviledges, morality, or even genetic superiority. Individuality is an important part of what it means to be human, yet it is important to maintain respect for one's peers, and remember that being different does not translate into being a better person.

The figure was first created in photoshop through simple shapes before being traced in Illustrator. The figures were then cloned before one was singled out in red. Lines were added to bring focus to the red figure, and also to break up the monotony of horizontal planes. As a bit of subtle irony, I decided to allow the lines to cross over on top of the word "Difference" in order to emphasize the word even more.
