The "Essence" of This Project

The purpose of this project is for the student to get experience following through each stage of the SDLC as applied to screen development and interactivity; therefore, you will be required to go through a series of stages or phases before you actually begin creating the web pages.

The essence of the project is INTERACTIVITY - development of a hyper-environment. The type of project that is BORING is one where the user makes one selection from a "list", one at a time, with no variation, progressively narrowing down the alternatives, and resulting in one definitive page. If your project will be of this variety, you will be asked to supplement it with optional links such as notes/aids/recommendations, etc. to make it more interesting and interactive.

The more variation and the more user options available, the better!  It is expected that you will use a variety of navigational and interactive options and techniques.  This is an opportunity to both experiment with options and techniques and to use your creativity.
