Enter the sub-directory you have created for 403 coursework. From this sub-directory, go into the sub-directory for your Tutorial_6 work. Within this sub-directory, create the web page, that is developed from pages 6.06 - 6.47 of your text. Go into the textbook student disk, and into 10114-8 and open the sub-directory for Tutorial.06. From this sub-directory, copy the .htm graphic files. As with previous Tutorials, you will copy these files without the leading directory references.
When you have completed the Tutorial, do the Review Assignment on Page 6.49 - 6.52. Going back to the Student data disk, go into the Review sub-directory for necessary .htm and graphics files.
After completing the text exercise, go to the "Case Problems" at the end of the chapter and create Case # 4, "Millenium Computers ", found on page 6.59 of the text. This will also be created in your Tutorial_6 sub-directory. There are NO files for this Case Study! You are to read the requirements and develop your own page - choosing colors, creating an appropriate table, developing the form, making headings, etc. as you deem best. Be creative! Since this is a creative assignment, there should be no two projects that are similar; this would be plagiarism.
You do not have to print out either the tutorial exercise or the assigned project, as these will be viewed at 10:00 a.m.
At the start of class October 28th , there will be a short closed book quiz based on the material of Tutorial #6.
All following tutorial assignments will take this same format:
1) Complete the tutorial and review exercises in the appropriate sub-directory
using the appropriate files from the student disk
2) Complete the assigned Case Study from the back of the chapter
3) Take a short closed book quiz at the beginning of class.
