Personal Home Page and the IFSM 303 Page
"index.html" & "303.html"

Due Thursday, July 18th by 5:00 p.m. - Late submissions or reaccomplishments will not be accepted.
Course Value: 4 %

For this assignment, create a personal Home Page, "index.html", and a separate page,
"303.html", that will be used for your coursework this semester.

These pages will reside within a sub-directory of your unix account named: www

As a minimum, your home page should have a centered, enlarged title, and some content with
which you want to be identified (remember, anyone in the world can "see" you; be sure they
are seeing the image you wish to convey).
Your home page will also include an obvious (by color, size or placement) link to another
page you will create within your www directory which will have your IFSM 303 course work
for the semester; your "303.html" page.

The IFSM 303 Page

This page should have a centered, enlarged title (i.e., Coursework for IFSM 303, Summer
Session II, 2002) and a few statements indicating that the purpose of this page is to hold
coursework and that was created as part of an assignment.
The final requirement, at this point, is to have an obvious and appropriately appearing link on
the 303 page back to your home page.
The 303.html page will be enhanced in the next assignment.

IF...

you already have a home page on the UMBC server

Then your assignment is to create the 303.html page, and a link to this page from your home
page, as described above. It is important that the link to the 303 page be obvious to the
instructor for the purposes of grading the semester's assignments.
If your current home page uses frames, be sure that the link to the 303 page is VERY
obvious. The 303 page (not the home page) is the gateway to the semester's assignments.
Regardless of your experience and ability as a WWW programmer, you will be held
accountable to follow all requirements precisely as described.
