I currently work as an intern at University of Maryland Baltimore Dental School in Dr. Ru-Ching Hsia's Electron Microscopy Lab. I perform several operations such as Immunogold Labeling and functions related to specimen cutting. After performing the Labeling experiment, I work with a Post Doc and examine the specimen under A Transmission Electron Microscope. I have recently started using the Scanning Electron Microscope in order to find inclusions of Chlamydia Infections in HeLa Cells.
My career goal is to go through Medical School and obtain a MD degree which can further help me practice Neurosurgery. I have always been fascinated with the human brain ever since I was in High School and believe that it is very intriguing and learning more about it and applying to everyday life would most definitely be career path that I would like to follow.
