From: Lina Zhou 12 June 2008 Call for Participation in a Research Study on Speech Recognition Error Detection Speech recognition represents the future generation of human computer interaction. We are running a research study on speech recognition error detection in the information systems departments. Participants will be using a GUI interface to detect errors in speech recognition outputs in an ITE lab. This study has been approved by the UMBC Institutional Review Board (#Y04LZ12149). The study is expected to last for no more than an hour. You will be compensated for $10 for your participation. Participants must be native English speakers. Participants with good reading, speaking and writing skills are highly preferred.
