Some more info about me...

I was a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department at UMBC. I now work at the Integrated Networking Solutions division of Lucent Technologies, located at Alameda, California.

I am married to Sumedha Joshi (formerly, Sumedha Phanse).

I did my B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at IIT, Bombay, India.

My main field of interest is signal processing and communications. I worked on techniques for representing signals for my Ph.D. See my Research Page for more info.

My hobbies include nature and wildlife.

I currently maintain the Bird list of UMBC campus, and, of course, my birdlists from the USA and India.
