WHEN: Friday, May 7, 1999, 8-10am
WHERE: Family and Consumer Resources, Room 114 (If you face the front entrance of the Social Sciences Building, FCR is the building directly south, or behind, Social Sciences.)
Although the U of A map seems to take a while to load, you can find the room if you click here.
Both of my English 101 sections will be in the same room, so don't worry if you get there early and don't recognize everyone. Please be sure to arrive on time and remember to bring the following:
I will be in the room the entire time, and I am the only person grading your exams. ***Please do not ask me for exam grades or final grades either by phone or by e-mail. You will be able to find out your final grade through RSVP after May 10.***
A successful final exam essay will answer the chosen question thoroughly by answering all aspects of the question. A successful essay has an identifiable thesis statement that is clearly backed up by evidence quoted from the texts. Organization of your essay progresses clearly from paragraph to paragraph, with identifiable and appropriate topic sentences and transitions.
***If you wish to have your graded final returned, please bring me a self-addressed, stamped 8 1/2 x 11 envelope to the final exam.***
