I am an Assistant Professor in the Information Systems Department at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). I earned my Ph.D. degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Delaware in August 2006.

My research interests are in the areas of software testing, testing web applications, and software maintenance. My Ph.D. research was on developing cost-effective techniques for user-session-based testing of web applications. I am a member of the Empirical and Applied Software Engineering Lab (EASEL) at UMBC. I also collaborate through the Automated Combinatorial Testing for Software (ACTS) group at NIST.

I am serving on the Program Committee of the International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement (ESEM), 2008, the International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (ISSRE), 2008, and the International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation (ICST), 2009.

I am always looking for good students to work with. I also have some independent studies to offer in the area of software testing. If you are interested in any of the research areas mentioned above (also see my Research page), or if you think I might be interested in a particular topic of your interest, stop by my office for a chat or drop me an email!
