MORE ON LACKLUSTER
Lackluster was conceived in the Fall of 1996, when Rob and Erin met at the University of Maryland in Baltimore County. They soon began writing songs and joined Garrett (a high-school Bowie punk rocker) and Dan (a friend of Rob's). The songs began to flow better and better, and the group was finally cemented when drummer Jen first played with them (about a month or two after Erin and Rob met). From there every step (with a few that have been written out for revisionist history purposes) has been a step up. Lackluster has played with internationally famous bands such as the Gigolo Aunts, Chisel, and Racecar. They have since released a full length CD produced under their own steam, and are playing the waiting game. Lackluster plays in Baltimore regularly (as can be seen on the See Lackluster! page). They have been described as 'brat rock', 'indie pop' (they hate that one), and 'complaint rock'.
