Introduction to Computer Programming

Course Information: IS 147 is a 3 credit course introducing students to the basic principles and techniques involved in computer programming. The course is intended for students with no programming background. Students will complete programming assignments in Java in order to apply basic logic and design skills to typical Information System problems. Prerequisite course:  IS 101.

IS 147 serves as the prerequisite for IS 247.
